When the mission begins, most players believe that the Vault could be one of these four characters: Ricsige, Faravid, Audun, or Hjorr. The players will need to speak with all of Jorvik's council members who are present in the courtyard. Audun, Faravid, Hjorr, and Ricsige are the main characters. After that, go chat to Ljufvina again, who is positioned to the left of Ricsige.
You discovered a cache of silver beneath the village throughout the questline. Later in your investigation, you discovered a hidden note from Hjorr on a silversmith's work station. When you question the suspects at the feast, Faravid refuses to drink the poison wine. Audun, meantime, clams up like a chowder, declaring that he will not partake in the wine and that it is for the people of Jorvik. You first met Audun and the Abess you subsequently exposed as The Firebrand together at the town archives when you were investigating the lost Christian books. Audun even stated that he was assisting her in the “protection” of the books.
Then you found a shopping list for the feast on Audun's desk, with Eivor asking aloud where he acquired the silver to pay for the things as you investigated the archives. Audun was not just the driving force behind the poisoned feast from the start, but he's also been tied to the stolen silver.
It isn't going to make a difference either option you choose. Regardless of who you choose, right or wrong, a series of events will unfold, culminating in an all-out fight. In the mission Closing the Vault, Audun is Vault. To the lords and women of Jorvik, he will propose a large toast. Audun will poison the food, and everyone will collapse on the floor after drinking the wine. Audun will then begin to expose his true identity.

If you've done all the digging you can and still can't decide who the Vault is in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, then worry not. We're here to help. There are four suspects in the Assassin's Creed Valhalla Closing the Vault quest:
There's reason to be suspicious of each of them, but the correct person to accuse is Audun. How do you know? He's the only one of the four who knows the wine isn't at the yuletide feast yet and he also is reluctant to drink it, which implies he knows it's poisoned. While some of the others don't want to drink it, they have good reasons for doing so.
Tell Ljufvina that you know Audun is the Vault and a cutscene will happen, which ends with you having to kill Audun, as you'd expect. Take him out and voila, Closing the Vault is complete.
