Fortunately, Samsung Internet gives you the option to recover closed tabs with just a few taps. However, you can reopen only the tabs closed in current browsing sessions. Once you closed the browser and try to reopen the closed tabs, you wont see the option.

Here are the steps to reopen recently closed tabs in Samsung Internet:

1. Launch Samsung Internet Browser on phone.

If you want to recover a tab that you have closed prior to the recent tab then keep taping the Reopen closed taboption until you see the desired tab.

Once all the recently closed tabs open, this option will disappear automatically. Even when you havent closed any tabs in your current browsing sessions, Reopen closed tab option is hidden.

Reopen History in Samsung Internet

Now the above method can open the recently closed tabs, but what about the tabs or websites that youve closed a while ago or in the past? In such cases, you can use the browser history. The Samsung Internet stores the record of sites that youve visited, and this will help in reopening the closed tab.

Here are the steps to reopen closed tabs using History:

1. Launch the Samsung Internet app.
2. Tap on
   
   
   to open the menu list.
3. Choose the History menu from the list.
   
   
   
   This will display all the websites you visited as well as the recently closed ones.

You can scroll down in the history tab to visit any previous closed website link. You can always reopen the recently closed tab from the History.

If youre browsing within the secret mode, the History menu option will not work since the records are not stored.
